What devices does RinkCoach run on?
iPhone and iPad running iOS / iPadOS 17 or later. Your plans sync between your own devices when you sign in with the same account.
Which age groups is it for?
RinkCoach covers 6U–14U, from learn-to-skate groups through bantam-age players. Drills and generated plans stay within skills that fit each age group.
Does it work at the rink without signal?
Yes. Plans, drill animations and Practice Run mode all work offline. Rinks are known for bad reception, so nothing you need on the ice depends on a connection.
How does the free trial work?
New subscribers get 7 days free. The trial is handled by Apple through the App Store: you can cancel any time before it ends in your Apple ID subscription settings and you won't be charged.
What happens if my subscription ends?
RinkCoach locks until you subscribe again. Your plans, drills and feedback are kept, so everything is still there when you come back.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose RinkCoach. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
Can our association buy access for all of our coaches?
Yes. Associations buy a group license directly from us, and each coach joins with an invite code. See RinkCoach for Associations.
I already have a subscription and my association just bought a license. What should I do?
Join your association with its invite code, then cancel your personal subscription in your Apple ID settings. Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases; if you need help, email support@rinkcoach.app.
Do I need to enter player information?
No. Rosters are optional, and if you use one, RinkCoach only asks for a first name and jersey number.
Can I use my own drills and plans?
Yes. Build plans from the drill library, adjust drill times, reorder or swap drills, and share a plan with another coach.
Do the drills include body checking?
Only where it belongs. Body-checking skills appear only in 14U boys content, in line with youth hockey rules. They never appear in younger age groups.
